Here are links to some historic postcards dating from the turn of the last century document the Victorian charm of Melrose, Massachusetts. While some of the scenes depicted in these postcards no longer remain, many are recognizeable even today.

Great website! I am a fan of old postcards also, but one that you have is a mystery to me: I had never seen the Howard Johnson card before and I can find no one who remembers it. A Google search yielded only that it was on Fellsway East/Lynn Fells Parkway, but I can find no confirmation of this. Other HoJo pages fail to list a Melrose location anywhere in its history.
Any ideas where it could have been?
